Turning lived experience into
frontline insight.
About Me
I’m Sabrina Hewitt MA, founder of SH Consultancy CIC and Trapline Legacy. Having been criminally exploited from childhood, I bring lived experience alongside an MA in Human Trafficking, Modern Slavery, Migration and Organised Crime. My work helps professionals understand how exploitation happens and what young people need from the services around them.
Over the past nine years, I have worked directly with young people and families affected by exploitation and county lines. I deliver training, develop practical resources and support young people through mentoring. That combination of lived experience, frontline work and academic knowledge shapes every session I deliver.
My work includes collaborations with statutory services, charities and specialist organisations, including Victim Support, Barnardo’s and NSPCC. I also piloted a workshop for young women at HMP Bronzefield, which became a recurring programme.
Through SH Consultancy CIC, I deliver practical training and paid consultancy on county lines, child criminal and sexual exploitation, grooming and coercive control. Sessions help professionals recognise warning signs, understand coercion and respond with greater confidence. Training is available online and in person, tailored to your team and setting.
